Bloomstead Counselling offers a trauma-informed, body-based, neurodiversity-affirming practice that is grounded in evidence-based approaches. I believe that your capacity for healing is already within you, wherever you are at in this moment.

As an Audhd therapist, I understand the importance of tailoring therapy to fit your unique nervous system, life experiences, values, and therapeutic goals—creating space for meaningful healing, growth, and resilience building.

Whether you’re carrying the impact of difficult or overwhelming experiences, struggling to feel safe in your body or the world around you, or feeling stuck in patterns that once helped you survive, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, our bodies, others, and the life we want to live. Our work together can help you understand how your past experiences have shaped the way you feel, respond, and move through the world; If you strive to reconnect with a sense of safety, build resilience, regulate your nervous system, and learn to trust yourself again, you’re in the right place.

My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centred Therapy, EMDR, somatic-based therapy, attachment-based therapy, parts-based therapy, and other evidence-based approaches to support healing, resilience, and meaningful change.

I look forward to supporting you on your counselling journey.

My journey toward understanding others began with a commitment to understanding myself.

As an AuDHD therapist, I’ve experienced firsthand what it can feel like to move through the world with the sense that you’re different, without always having the words to explain why. That journey of self-discovery has shaped not only who I am as a person, but also the way I show up as a therapist. I hope my neurodivergent clients, in particular, feel understood, affirmed, and supported as they make sense of their own experiences. At the same time, my practice welcomes individuals from all walks of life who are seeking greater self-understanding, healing, and growth.

The more I came to understand myself, the more I realized that every person’s story is shaped by a unique combination of experiences, relationships, culture, and identity. There is no single path to healing, and no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I believe we all benefit from having someone who can walk alongside us with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care during life’s most challenging seasons.

Over time, I began to see a beautiful parallel between human growth and the natural world. Just as a plant doesn’t bloom overnight, people grow through seasons. There are times of flourishing, times of uncertainty, and times when simply surviving requires strength. Growth isn’t about reaching a final destination—it’s about continuing to care for ourselves, adapt, and heal through each new season of life.

That reflection became the inspiration behind Bloomstead Counselling. The name represents my hope of creating a place where people feel rooted in safety, supported through life’s changing seasons, and empowered to grow in ways that are authentic to them.
